A city full of wonders: Amsterdam is a very popular city for those who enjoy the interesting cultural side of the Dutch. A lot of well-known artists originate from The Netherlands and where’s a better place to show off some of the works than in the capital city of Amsterdam.
At the Museumplein, you’ll find the Van Gogh museum. Van Gogh was known for his incredible paintings and artworks which ranged from detailed sceneries and landscapes to portraits from either strangers or his own being. Other musea in the area include the Amsterdam Museum, where visitors are showered with useful facts about the respective city, and the Rijksmuseum where other artists like Rembrandt and Vermeer have received their spots of honor.

Had enough of wandering through the corridors of the local musea? Luckily, Amsterdam is overflowing with activities for the whole family. You can visit the local zoo Artis or make a mini cruise in the late evening whilst being surrounded by Amsterdam’s street lights. If you prefer the solid ground under your boots, you can always count on several well-trained guides who’ll take you on a journey through the streets of the capital. They will tell stories about buildings and important places while giving out restaurant recommendations so travelers are sure to eat at the finest establishments Amsterdam has to offer.

Talking about food, there’s no shortage of awesome meals and cozy bars in the neighborhood.
