Once you know the dates of your trip to Amsterdam, you can book a ticket for the Anne Frank House with a time slot between 9 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. This will enable you to gain entry to this tourist hot spot before those without tickets arrive. If you haven’t booked a ticket in advance, then avoid the queues by making a night-time visit to the house. It remains open until 10 p.m.
Rent a bike
Public transport in Amsterdam can be a little erratic at the best of times. Instead of wasting time waiting for the next bus to arrive, adopt the methods of the locals, and see the city on a bike.
